Numerous sources have reported that Transocean Ltd. — one of the companies at fault for the BP Gulf Oil Spill — has rewarded its top executives with bonuses for… get this… achieving the "best year in safety performance in our company’s history". This after the Deepwater Horizon oil rig explosion that killed 11 oil workers and dumped 200 million gallons of oil and gas into the Gulf of Mexico.
If this was the safest year in company history… what was the worst??
