Today in Saint Louis, charities are working to make a real difference in the lives of some of the most vulnerable people in society. But, a slow economy has meant dwindling resources for things like providing abused women refuge, feeding the hungry, housing the homeless and caring for neglected children. The Saint Louis legal community has decided to meet this challenge head on.
Lawyers from all walks of life are joining together to raise money for local charities that have a demonstrated track record of changing lives. To make this project a success, we need each person’s help. We have set ambitious goals by selecting ten charities in the Saint Louis community. By providing funding to each of them, the legal community will have the opportunity to impact thousands of lives. To make sure money goes where it is needed most, 100% of the money donated will go straight to the charities.
To thank donors, those who give significant donations will be honored at the Pre-Valentine’s Day Event at the Old Courthouse in downtown Saint Louis. There, donors will have an opportunity to meet the leaders of the charities they have helped, be recognized for their donations, and be able to enjoy an elegant night of fine desserts, drink and music.
All donations to Project XOXO should be made payable to the Saint Louis Bar Foundation and should include Project XOXO in the subject line of the donation. Donations should be mailed to:
