The Thomas Strong Trial Attorney Award is given by the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys to the "trial lawyer who, in the preceding year(s), has exemplified and put into practice the philosophy of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys through his or her representation of victims and consumers in the courtrooms of Missouri."

The Dean of the Trial Bar Award is presented by the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association (KCMBA) to attorneys who have demonstrated superb litigation skills and professional demeanor and who are viewed as exemplary by their peers.
