Bo Shi, the son of one of our clients, is riding a bicycle across the country this summer to raise money for the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation to help find a cure for spinal cord injuries (SCI).
You can view Bo's web page as he bikes across the country and learn more about why he is doing this. In May 2008, Bo, his sister, and his father Xiaofa were in his family's vehicle when overturned and rolled 1 1/4 times. Bo and his sister received only minor injuries, but his father Xiaofa suffered a severe spinal cord injury and was left paralyzed.
Bo is riding for his father and hopes to raise $10,000 for the Christopher Reeve Foundation to support their research for a cure.
If you would like to help Bo reach his goal, please visit Bo's donation page. You can also pledge a certain amount per mile by visiting Bo's Penny Club page. Bo needs just over 200 donors at just a penny per mile to reach his goal – will you help? Your donations are tax deductible.
We're proud of Bo and his family and wish him the best on his journey and join in his hope for a cure for spinal cord injury!
