Walter Olson at Overlawyered is concerned there may be tort liability for the Boston Marathon bombing.
Eric Turkewitz at the New York Personal Injury Law Blog explains why the answer is no – there will not be tort liability for the bombing.
You really should read both posts, but particularly Turkewitz's post explaining why tort liability will not materialize. Lawyers are not in the business of taking unwinnable cases. And the very few lawyers who do, don't stay in business very long.
