Banks Tricking Customers Into Opting Out Of New Protections

Comments Off

New legislation designed to protect the public make it illegal for banks to charge overdraft fees on debit card card tranactions… unless the bank can trick its customers into opting out of that protection. Banks make billions off overdraft fees and are doing everything in they can in order to protect that revenue stream.

What do you think? Should banks be allowed to trick their customers into giving up these new protections?
